This is the law of electricity generation by electromagnetic induction. It was discovered by Michael Faraday (1791-1867) in 1831 after intensive research and long experiments. When a permanent magnet is moved inside a coil of copper wire, a positively increasing current is induced in the coil. When the coil is moved out of the coil, the polarity of the current changes. This is known as electromagnetic induction.
